Sassy Swag Designs 100% Silk Wrap for Hair – Review

Sassy Swag Review-THUMB-2

I know it’s been a while loves!

I am back to review a Silk Wrap for hair that I received by the owner of Sassy Swag Wraps.

NOTE: This is NOT a compensated review. These are my opinions. Not influenced by anyone but me.

This wrap is designed to protect your hair and hairline at night from friction. I think it would be good to use this silk wrap to wrap hair (obviously) and preserve silk wrap hair. This is safe for relaxed and natural hair (my hair is natural). I wore this wrap on 4+ occasions.

Frizzy Hair? – How to Blow dry Natural Hair Straight

blow dry natural hair

If you are like me, you have thick curly hair. Sometimes it’s a beast to work with and usually ends up frizzy after blow drying straight or flat ironing your hair.  Some people think that they need a ton of products to tame frizzy hair. Yes, the most expensive or best treatment of frizzy might work. But that is not always the answer. People tend to neglect the true reason for frizzy hair. More than likely lack of moisture in the hair is the reason why your hair is frizzy. So how do you fix frizzy hair?

This is what I do:

1. I wash my hair with a moisturizing shampoo (most times it’s a non-sulfate version). Rinse.

2. Deep condition my hair with a moisturizing conditioner with 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil. (Adjust this for your hair type, ie: fine hair would use less oil).

3. Let conditioner sit for an hour. For better results sit under a hooded dryer for 30-45 minutes. Rinse.

4. Blowdry hair with a serum (dime size amount) and heat protectants. I use Chi Silk infusion or Garnier serums.

5. Flat iron your hair with serum – dime size amount.

In this video I  will show you how I to blow dry your natural curly (or kinky in my case) hair the RIGHT way to tame frizzy hair.

I will blowdry my natural hair straight with no heat damage. Once you get the hang of it you will be blow drying your hair like a pro. Then you can move on to flat ironing your hair without heat damage.

There is always more than one way to do something (you can trust me I’m an engineer)…my job is about finding new ways to solve issues. Even if the information I received was crappy and incomplete to complete the task. I will not rant here…one of those days…and moving on!

In this video I am going to show you (and the world) how I flat iron my hair. For me doing my hair was something that was supposed to be private; or somewhat private going to a salon. I don’t know about you, but I don’t like for my hair to be seen in its unfinished state.
